Subak Museum

Subak Museum , Bali Water Irrigation System is the only one museum in Bali and also in the world which is explaining and containing about Bali water irrigation system, its located at Tabanan regency. This museum collecting all the traditional Balinese farmer equipments which are usually used to work in their rice field. The old pictures of Balinese farmer with their rice filed are also collected in Subak Museum. By visit Subak Museum Bali, you will know the simple agricultural equipment and owns good irrigation system. The Subak museum consists of an airy exhibition hall, an audio-visual room, a Balinese traditional compound, and an actual subak field of one hectare. The exhibition hall chronicles the subak system, explains its structure and exhibits subak irrigation and traditional rice cultivation tools that have been used since ancient times; and in many instances are still being used by today’s rice farmers. Soka Beach
Soka Beach is located in the quiet village, district Selemadeg, Tabanan regency. Rambut Siwi Temple
This is one of the biggest Hindu Temples in Bali located in Negara regency, west part of Bali. It is a beautiful Hindu shrine set in the cliff bank with wide Indian Ocean just in front of the temple. This temple has been renovated and moved to the top of hill for better location of worshiping to the God. Picturesquely situated on cliff top overlooking a long, wide stretch of beach, this superb temple with his numerous shady frangipani trees is one of the important coastal temple of southern Bali.It is another of the temples established in the 16th century by the priest Danghyang Nirartha who had such a good eye for ocean scenery. Legend has it that when Nirartha first came to Rambut Siwi Temples, he donated some of his hair to the local villagers. The air is now kept in a box buried in this temple, the name of which means "Worship of the hair". Entrance ticket is 20,000/person
West Bali National Park
Located on the north western side of Bali.The park covers around 190 square kilometres,of which are 158 square kilometres land and the remainder is sea.
Flora
The Park has over 175 species of plants, 14 of which are endangered like cendana, or sandalwood (Santalum album).
Birds
With about 160 different species Bali Barat National Park is a paradise for bird-watchers.
The Bali starling or Rotschild's Myna (Leucopsar rothschildi) is also the mascot of the Park. It loves a clean habitat and has a short flying range. Being easy to catch, this species needs special care and protection to safeguard its decreasing population.
Animals
A variety of animals can be found in the National Park, among others:
Banteng (Bos javanicus), Wild Boar (Sus scrofa), Rusa Deer (Cervus timorensis), Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis), Ebony Leaf Monkey (Trachypithecus auratus).
